Helping Millennials Cope with Big Changes

Virtual, Trauma-Focused Psychotherapy for NY and NJ residents

Stop feeling out of control and get in the driver's seat

I help Millennials build their confidence during big life changes so they can feel in control of their lives again.

My clients struggle as you do. Despite looking good on paper, following all the rules, and supporting themselves and those they care for, life is hard.

When they first come in, they feel out of control of their future. Sometimes they’re coming out of a breakup or starting their motherhood journey.

They worry that they are getting in their own way, repeating habits that self-sabotage and make them feel farther and farther from their ultimate goals.

They often worry about not being good enough. Perhaps experiences in the past have left them damaged or scarred, unable to overcome barriers they’ve seen passed on from generation to generation.

Their struggle to build themselves back up gets in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They aren’t the kind of person they want to be. They feel like they’re failing in their relationships and career. And their confidence is tanking.

Before they came to see me, they felt stuck and hopeless about real change. They worried they would fall into the same generational patterns as those before them. And they were pretty certain that talking through experiences with a complete stranger wouldn’t do much but open up a can of worms they wouldn’t be able to close. Their despair left them feeling stuck and alone.

Like my clients, you deserve to feel optimistic about your choices, big and small.

Living as your confident, authentic self while maintaining healthy relationships is not out of your reach.

If you want to explore thinking more critically about your habits and how to break them, I’d love to help you get there.
